I will be taking a break from tumblr for a month. Although I was looking forward to Christmas posts, I have decided that it is time to step back from tumblr and be more intentional about using my time for profit.

I spent two hours with five godly women tonight and we spoke a lot about our struggles to keep focused and be fully of the Spirit while wasting time with media. I have taken a few things away, and replaced that with beneficial activity. Tumblr is something that eats up my time, so it has to go.

I will be back on December 18th, but even when I return, I will not be spending as much time going through all sorts of posts.

This is a sacrificial act, and I want to make it clear that I am doing this for Christ. I want to know him more clearly and fully and deeply. To do this, I must set apart more time to be with Him and to meaningful interact with the community he has placed me in.
